In this episode of DBA Chronicles, Dr. Kelly Burich and Dr.Valrie Grant welcome Robert Muniz, an active-duty U.S. Army leader with nearly 20 years of experience and a DBA student in Organizational Leadership at Columbia Southern University.
Robert serves as Deputy Comptroller for the United StatesArmy Special Operations Agency at the Pentagon. As he prepares to transition from military service, he is turning years of leadership experience into research questions about trust, organizational culture, employee commitment and what helps teams thrive.
Drawing on experiences from his first assignment in Germanyto special operations and the Pentagon, Robert shares how his understanding of leadership has evolved and how doctoral study is teaching him to question assumptions he once took for granted.
